Deposit fund

In order to buy on LSL, you must pre-deposit fund into your account. You need to quote your member id and name when transferring the money into our bank account. You must deposit into the same currency account as the auction currency.

Make a bid

Got to Buy Livestock page, use the filter to find the auctions that interest you. In the auction listing, click the magnifying class to see the animal details and check information about the auction. Enter your offer price per kg into the box and click SUBMIT BID. Click on the number of bids column to see all other bids including your bid. You can also enter the total price instead of price per kg to bid. If you tick Auto BID tick box, the system will auto bid in 0.1 increment until it reaches your offer price. You can also contact the seller if you have any questions.

My Bids and purchases

All auctions that you bid on are listed under My Bids and Purchases page so you can quickly locate them.

Confirm total weight

Once the seller accepts your bid, full auction payment will be taken from you and held by LSL. We will notify you in an email. Small partial payment amount is released to the seller. You need to arrange delivery or pickup of the animal with the seller and confirm the total animal weight. To confirm the total weight, locate the auction from My Bids and Purchases, click on SELLER DETAILS button and enter the weight to confirm.

Deal completed

Once a matching total weight is confirmed by you and the seller, the deal completes. Full payment is then released to the seller. Locate the auction from My Bids and Purchases page, you can see the transaction event log and rate the seller.
